Let me tell something about my friend Jesus.
He was born like us. His mother was Mary.
He came from Nazareth. He walked the dusty roads. He got hungry and thirty.
Just like us.
 He never had a degree, never owned a home.
He kept things simple.
Yet no one understands life like Jesus. He did this only to feel what we feel,
to understand, to be in our place. He understands what you are going through.
He is touched and offers solutions.
He does not offer religion.
Nor church or other religious activities.
He only offers himself.
He is enough...Some 2000 years ago he died in our place.
This is hard to understand. Hard to accept. But it is true. 3 days later,
He rose from the dead.
No other has ever done this.
Death or anything else could not hold Him down.
This is why he can help. He has conquered all,
everything is under His control, it may, at times, not look like it, but it is.

Love seems to be what is missing.
I want to be loved. We all do.
I want to feel that I am appreciated for what and who I am. We all do.
I think we all long for this love.
This unconditional, God-kind of love.
This is what my friend Jesus is all about.
Loving me and loving you.
That He why He is not a religious system. He is love.
And He now offers this love, this God kind of love to you.

Would you like to meet this friend of mine?

Here we go....I'll start.
Let me introduce you two.

Friend this is Jesus. Jesus this is my friend.

Now friend let me help you talk to Him:
We are going to pray. Don't be timid. He is your friend too.
Say something like this:
 "Jesus, I need a friend like you. I would like some
of this God kind of love too. Jesus I know that I am not perfect.
I believe you are. Jesus I believe you died for me.
I believe you understand. Right now Jesus I come to you.
I need you as my Lord and Savior.
Now, as my friend,
I ask you to come into my heart and save me
from my sins and the cruelty of this life. 
I know you know all about it.
Friend Jesus,
please start making a brand new life in me and for me.
I now take you as my Lord and Savior."

Friend you have a destiny. Remember that dream in your heart
when you were a child? It's still there. Maybe covered over with
disappointments and pain, but it is still there.
30 years ago I met Jesus
 by praying a simple prayer like the one I offer here.
Since then I have
messed up many a thing.
I have done a lot of things wrong, but He was
still there for me. Like He will be there for you. I don't offer you Jesus
because I grew up in Church or read of Him.
I only offer to you what
I have found by personally meeting Him. The same way I would like you
two to meet.
The best days are still ahead. You can gain your heart
and motivation back. Man, we have tried so many other things, is it
not time to try our Creator?
 Remember our best thinking got us to
where we are now.
Yet God is waiting and has been waiting for us to
look up and surrender and turn things over to Him.
 
This is your hour, this is your time.

Friend if you were sincere and I believe you were,
Jesus has come into your life and given you a brand new start.
This is not because I or anybody else says so,
or a religious organization says so, no this is because
God Himself says so. If you can find a Bible, go to the
book of Romans, the 10th chapter and the 13th verse.
There you have it.
You did your part and unless I am mistaken,
God did His. If you sincerely called on His name,
then according to the Bible, the Father just saved you.
