Dark is the room that surrounded her soul.
Nothing to do but stop the cold.
As she stands on the chair
waiting to kick it away.
Life too messed up and hard.
Everyone has gone,
for the needle took all.
Her veins are dark, and to end this strife.
There is nothing to do but end her life.
She remembers now her sweet grandmother's love.
Of a hope, that was a peaceful dove.
A man loved her more.
She can imagine the Cross He bore.
The words came across her lips of pain.
If you are real Jesus, help me and explain.
He told her that the light is true.
Come to Him and it will be hers too.
She felt the peace of God.
Because of her Savior's love.
