In was during the summer of 2002 while Sandy and I were ministering at the Lighthouse Rescue Mission of Nampa Idaho, that the Lord first began speaking to me concerning Kings Kafe. While there seems to be many organizations offering food and housing to the homeless and addicted We found  a famine of the Love and Person of Jesus Christ manifest in the midst.

Because this is not about us but about HIM, our hearts long for a Center functioning 24/7, where the lest, the lost and the last, could have their physical, mental, emotional and spiritual needs met.

I saw a building, perhaps a closed down restaurant with other ample room for housing and expansion. Here we could offer meals off our menu (howbeit the menu could only offer what the Lord had supplied) around the clock, 7 days a week.
Thus the name KINGS KAFE. A indigent or homeless, or for that matter anyone else, could come get a sandwich, meal, cold drink or cup of coffee anytime,  in an atmosphere demonstrating the presence of Jesus. Here we could share our Lord and the answers we have found to bring nightmares into the light of His day.

Sandy and I would live on property to cut rent expenditures, to help solve difficult situations and direct the operation in general. The primary objective is to rescue precious human beings into the Person and power of Jesus Christ through the work of the Wonderful Holy Spirit.

As soon as possible after the establishment of Kings Kafe temporary housing units will be established for transient clients. This would include men, women and families. These good folk would have an opportunity to rest, regain their bearings, have Spirit led opportunities to receive Christ or, return to Him, receive healing, find employment, save funds and relocate back into the community and Church of God. What a need there is for people to locate Children of God that will love them just for love and Christ's sake.

Soon to follow will be the Addiction Recovery Center for both men and women. This unit will address the pertinent Christian life skills necessary to walk with God and recover from the likes of addiction driven by alcohol, cocaine, heroin, THC, prescription drugs, prostitution, domestic violence etc. Of course there are many other strongholds that can be added to this list.

Kings Kafe, once up and running would also serve as a place of Christian fellowship. A nightly "coffee house" effect would be encouraged. Christians from the community would be encouraged to come visit, fellowship and share the Love of Jesus. An area would be provided within Kings Kafe with a platform for devotional times, special music presentations etc. This would especially be true on the week ends.

Staffing would be accomplished on a volunteer basis by those carrying a similar burden and desiring to exercise their spiritual gifts to aid in deliverance while at the same time fostering spiritual growth. This ministry is way too big for me. Our total dependence is on our Lord Jesus Christ and on fellow believers who are equipped with "gifts" other than ours. The truth is that we all need each other, to see anything work for God  accomplished through His Body operation.

Please pray for this ministry. As of now I do not know how to get from A to B. We have the vision and wait upon the Lord for the manifestation. We covet your prayers and input. Please feel free to contact us. We welcome your support.

I believe the Lord Jesus willing to raise up a Spirit filled ministry to rescue the lest, the last and the lost into His glorious person. In His eyes, we are of great value.

May 2006

Well it seems we are going to start this dream somewhere
in America.  We are leaving with our little trailer and going
west from Kalamazoo Michigan.

Dec. 2006
We are now in Oregon waiting on the Lord's direction.
Boy is it beautiful on the coast.  And No Snow.
Yahoo Yahoooooooooo.
It is like spring everyday in what they call winter here.
It is so nice to see the people i grew up with and
friends i have made in the past.  What wonderful
people here.
No one yelling and screaming all the time like
Michigan, but people helping one another and kind worlds
given and a smile and hello on most people's face.
I hope i never get used to this type of love.
Please keep us in your prayers for direction.
Love you tooooo much   Sandy Mason.
